What are the marks of ancient sandstone are the best to buy?
I'm looking to collect antique sandstone, as Western Stoneware Monmouth, Red Wing, etc. I am curious which brand is best "to the extent that the sustainability and maintenance of its value. I want to pass this down to my children later! I am specifically looking for cartridges.
Virtually every antique you buy will appreciate in value. The two leaders you mentioned are excellent, as are Brush-McCoy and Niloak. If you do not want to spend much money, think Robinson Ramsbottom. Their pottery is undervalued now, as more and more popular every day. The key, of course, is just to buy what you like.
