Vintage Occupied

Vintage Occupied
Jazz or Precision bass?

I have been playing bass for about a year now, and I just love it.
The current bass I occupy is a Dean Zone XM, but soon I would like to upgrade to a better quality bass.
My question is weather I should get a Precession or jazz bass?
What are the differences and what is more suited for me.
I like hard rock, metal, punk, jazz, and basically everything.

Here is my precession bass choice:

And my jazz:

Well if you’ve been playing for a year I would invest in something of higher quality than a Squier. But if you’re stuck to that budget I would actually grab an ibanez GSR200, GSR200fm, or SR300, depending on what you can afford and your choice of aesthetics. Ibanez definitely has the best budget basses around.

But if you MUST get a squire, get a Jazz bass without a doubt.
