I’ve painted a melomine plate with acryllic paint. What product can seal it to make it hand/dishwasher safe?
I’m wanting to use this for my daughter’s 5th birthday party. We are having a tea party and I need a gender neuteral craft since there will be many boys in attendance.
There is no product that you can use to my knowledge that would make this dishwasher safe, or for that matter safe to use at a birthday party…acrylic paint is used to apply to canvas, etc. and not to decorate plates. Please do not take exception to this reply, but I would just not feel safe using this plate at a party. Good luck in finding an appropriate substitute and GOD bless you and yours….Nomadic
