Up until 1992 all espresso coffee cups could only buy white or with a company logo on them. Then the decision of Illy Caffe that they combine the art of espresso and they commissioned Matteo Thun to help design their cup espresso first. The design is considered by the owner of Illy Caffe (Francesco Illy) to the perfect cup even though its design is very simple. Now, with many collectors who love coffee in the world, these types of cups have become articles.
In fact for many when it comes the collection of espresso cups, it is almost similar to the collection of certain forms of art. The cups designed today each have their own artist who will produce its own particular design and contain a portion of their personal style within them. Today, there are many artists who designed the future Cup collections as a way to make themselves known and make their works available to the general public.
Today all companies that produce these cuts will have a particular numbering system in place that allows them to limit the number that are produced. More You will also find that it limits the time within that these cuts will be available before removing the shelves and filing a completely new design. You will find that each of the Illy collector cups and saucers accompanying signed and numbered on the base.
More to the inside of the cup itself, you will see that says "Illy Collection". However, these cups and saucers which are used in restaurants and are therefore part of a whole bar would only say "Illy Espresso "on them and will not have a number to be signed. cups others that are currently produced are those of FrancisFrancis! and Saeco. The FrancisFrancis! collections are both a number and a signature on them just like the Illy collections, whilst the Saeco espresso cups only signed on the base.
Each set of cups when purchased comes in a display box and in some cases, you may find that manufacturers have also included a cafe with them.
Today, because espresso cups have become extremely popular, get older versions can be very difficult and very expensive. Certainly, when a series of cuts is no longer available to be routed through a retail outlet then the only way to through them that the purchase of another collector. A set of espresso cups Trazzine that a person could buy in 1994 for $ 109 now sale by a collector for $ 700. Then of course you can see these cuts are not just for drinking your espresso.
