The Scottish Terrier, or "Scotties" as they are affectionately called are a beautiful breed of terriers, which were high in the Scottish Highlands. These dogs have a nice jaunty wonderful and not go to them. They are very sensitive, but any form of correction. These guys love to walk around and make people living in apartment excellent. These guys need exercise and may develop temperament problems if not be exercised every day. They are also well placed in a fenced yard. The game is vital for a Scottie happy to keep happy and healthy. As a puppy, they are noisy, but as an adult, they become more serious.
These guys come in black, brindle and tan. The black form is that is most identified with these lovely terriers. That said, this breed is strong and is short with a long coat wire. The topcoat is not so nervous. Constant brushing their coat is needed to eliminate the accumulation of hair in the outer and inner mantle. This prevents the hair tangled and making the hole in the miserable heat in some locations. They have the temperament to be happy, but can bite people. However, this feature is not as pronounced as it is with many other Terrier breeds.
These dogs are good watchdogs and are used as such in a variety of ways. They are also used to hunt fox and hunt vermin. This dog is a wonderful companion and very strong believer. There are many examples of famous people who own Scotties. George Bush is one that comes to mind. These adorable dogs company offers fantastic and friendship.
