Oil and Gas Museum renames room
PARKERSBURG – A room at the Oil and Gas Museum is being renamed in commemoration of the Parkersburg bicentennial in 2010. Curator Dave McKain said the “Parkersburg Room” where memorabilia and art of the early years of Parkersburg are on display will be called the “Parkersburg Bicentennial Room.” “It’s a great history of the town,” McKain said.
