Wedding Cake Questions?
I did some research on marriage and proposed an idea. Instead of buying a cake and centers table would be if I tacky little wedding cakes were decorated and maintained to act as centerpieces? I thought they might be on a small pedestal and decorated with pink / red for other items is the color of my marriage. It would allow guests to help themselves for the cake. I would have a big table for the honor that is richly decorated and would still be a cake cutting ceremony though. Does this seem tacky or innovative? In addition, the design ideas would be great! I was going to have a cake a little larger for the head table was decorated and cupcakes could be a solid color (red) with pink buttercream couple simple
Well, I've never seen it, and then I am all for new ideas, I see a couple of potential problems with this: 1. If you have children at one of these tables, parents spend whole dinner trying to keep their fingers out of them! 2. What will be the guests cut them with? With their knives dinner dirty? Will you buy shovel fixed pie for each table? 3. And so each cake is supposed to feed all PPL 10 at the table and someone cuts a piece Giant & Then There's not enough for everyone? 4. I cut one million of wedding cakes in my day, and it is not easy. Unless you have one on each level these cakes, it will be very difficult for customers to cut and they will all icing on themselves. 5. This may be a minor issue, but consider What it will look like after cutting and eating, the table will be a mess. If you try to save money on the blocks I suggest rather than following ideas: 1. Have the florist (or you, yourself) vases with just a little green in them on certain tables, then placed bouquets of the bridesmaids in them. 2. Get some great economic frameworks dollar stores or Walmart or Hobby lobby and raster images of you as a couple, surrounded by votive candles and petals pink. 3. Use some decorative item for others rather than flowers, such as hurricanes mosaic glass candle, glass votive holder sets w / heights different, etc.
