Green Tourmaline: the perfect stone for Balance and [Harmony 1]

Tourmaline is a large family of beautiful stones that occur in all colors of the rainbow and combinations of stones of two colors: pink, green (watermelon), pink-blue, gold green, and blue-green, for example. Each color has its own name, but often they are simply called by their color, like pink Rubellite Tourmaline, Indigolite blue tourmaline and green tourmaline-pink Watermelon Tourmaline. The tourmalines are available faceted or cabochon cut stones, with some cabochons view the eyes of a cat.

Tourmalines Today, most are from Brazil, Sri Lanka, Angola, Australia, Burma, India, Thailand and United States (California, New York, Connecticut and Colorado).

It is a stone hard enough with a Mohs hardness is 7 to 7 ½. It has a structure hexagonal crystal. The crude crystal rod (long shaft) can be used in jewelry, without polishing or cutting because of its natural beauty. Slice baguette crystal can be found in combinations of beautiful colors and unique. These pendants are particularly pleasant and earrings.

One of the unique properties of tourmaline is dependent piezoelectric: when the crystal is heated or the pressure is applied, it becomes electrically charged, giving it the ability to attract dust or small pieces of paper. Because of this quality of stone Tourmaline is the best for our system nervous. It acts on the electrical flow in the body, balancing and restoring the mind-body system and in particular the brain works.

Green Tourmaline occurs in many different variations of colors, including green warm tone, like a peridot, and Dark bluish tint.
