Devon Sprays

crab shells?
i hope u can help me with my question, me and my wife have just returned from Devon and as we went on the beach 1 day, i found a dead crab shell which was quite big, still with legs on, but obviously the birds had been at it so it was gutted.
my wife bought it home after wrapping it up in a towel for the week because of the smell and has now put it in water to try and clean it and to keep the smell away!!
my question for her is, how can she keep the crab from not smelling, can she spray it with somethin or put somethin on it to help?
any suggestions would be really helpful.
thanks
It’s a shell acid will eat it, it’s made from calcium, bleach will turn it white, boiling it will get rid of the smell but the meat is still there and it will start smelling pretty quickly.
Take it outside, bury it so the birds can’t steal it and let the insects clean it for you.
