Dark Blue
How can I get Dark Blue paint to cover a wall evenly?
I am the son of painting the room of my dark blue. St. Louis Cardinals Blue Navy to be exact. We put on four layers and the walls are not yet covered. You can see spots of light visible around the edges and where rolls while we were driving on the painting. Suggestions? Would-nap roller to the rough wall a little texture and cover the lights and shadows?
If you do not first, you should have, with tinted primer close to the dark blue color. If you use cheap paint, which could partly explain this lack of coverage. A roller with a nap could help more, if you used was one of the walls smooth, ride a semi-smooth. A rough surface will not roll the texture if you use it right, it is only intended to get paint in a rougher surface, and it will hold more paint. You may not be enough with paint. Do not try to stretch it. Refresh the paint on the roller often, and expand once it is on the wall. To avoid leaving roller, I often find it helpful to work with the edge of the roll that has the least pressure on the pointing to the new paint. If you have another edge to the new painting, it tends to leave ridges if you press too hard to try to cover painting.
