Boch Switch
Villeroy and Boch Switch 3 Tea Kettle ?
I just bought a Villeroy and Boch Switch 3 Tea Kettle but it doesn’t whistle. its supposed to. it doesn’t appear broken, nothing is bent and it was sold to me in Perfect Condition. the metal cap that normally whistles just doesn’t. anyone know how i can fix this?

forgot to mention i bought it on craig’s list. is there a way i can fix the cap to make it whistle? thanks for your help
Yes it definitely should whistle. Take it back and exchange it for another, they will almost definitely let you. Switch 3 has many problems in that range like the teapot for example.
If you are happy with it and it works fine but no whistling then by all means leave it and it may start whistling after using it a couple of times as it is new.
