Blue Portugal
i have a macaw blue and gold parret and am moving to portugal does anyone no how i can do this pls,?
i am a bit worrid about taking my parret to portugal as i no there laws because of the bird flu can anyone help ,
I hope you have a year to get this in order, because it will take that long to get all the rules in WRITING. The airline is your first step. IF you can find an airline that will take your parrot they will have specific rules on the size of the cage, when the vet exam has to be done before flying, etc, etc. Many airlines will take only mammals and many will not take any animals. Period. Start there. Then find what Portugal’s laws are on importing exotic animals.
