Help with Egg-Drop Experiment?
Heya. I’m working on an egg-drop experiment for Physics. You are probably familiar with it, you take an egg, build some carrier or holder around it, and drop it from a tall height. There’s a catch though, you can only use toothpicks and Elmer’s Glue. You can use as much of those two ingredients, but no glue can touch the egg.
Is there a design that I could use for this?
Use a framework with lots of equilateral triangles. It will be a lot of work, but that’s the best way to absorb the impact given your situation. The egg should be situated in the middle, and your best bet is probably a sphere or a cube. You’ll have to build a cradle for the egg, and then just build out from there.
